Community Use Guidelines

Leon Springs BC Marketplace exists to help members of Leon Springs Baptist Church serve one another—sharing goods, offering skills, and supporting local families. Treat this space like the fellowship hall: friendly, honest, and safe.

• Communicate kindly, even when negotiating price or declining an offer.
• Respond to messages in a timely manner.
• Respect one another's time, property, and privacy.

• Describe items and services accurately, including condition and any flaws.
• Use photos that fairly represent what you are offering.
• Price fairly and honor the price you list.

• Meet in public, well-lit places when exchanging items or services.
• Bring a friend when possible, and let someone know where you are going.
• Never share financial account details or passwords with other members.

• Items you own and want to give away, sell, or trade.
• Services you personally provide as a member or member family business.
• Church-related opportunities, events, or needs when approved by administrators.

• Items or services unrelated to the church family.
• Anything illegal, dangerous, or harmful.
• Adult content, political campaigning, or divisive material.
• Spam, chain messages, or repeated duplicate listings.
• Medical diagnoses, legal advice, or investment recommendations.

The marketplace does not handle payments. Arrange payment directly with the other member. We recommend simple, transparent methods such as cash or trusted peer-to-peer payment apps. Keep receipts or written agreements for higher-value items.

If you see a listing or message that violates these guidelines, please report it to an administrator at [admin email]. You can also ask a moderator to review a concern privately.

Administrators may remove content, issue warnings, temporarily suspend posting privileges, or remove access to the marketplace for repeated or serious violations. Our goal is always restoration, but safety comes first.
